During return counselling, we will discuss your situation together and explore your future prospects.
Together, we will plan your return, obtain your travel documents, and book your flight, train, or bus ticket.
Upon request, we will assist you with the necessary steps on your day of departure and accompany you to the point of departure – or, if needed, all the way to your country of origin.
If you do not have sufficient funds for your return, your travel costs will be covered. This also applies to special additional costs, for example, if you have a specific medical need upon return.
Upon your departure, you will receive a cash payment of up to € 900 as initial financial assistance.
After your return, you can also participate in a reintegration programme. This programme facilitates your new start in your home country through financial and in-kind assistance.

Frontex (European Border and Coast Guard Agency) supports your reintegration through the EU Reintegration Programme (EURP).
How are you supported after your return?
You can receive a Post-Arrival Package and a Post-Return Package.
Support Upon Arrival
The Post-Arrival Package provides immediate assistance upon arrival in your home country and includes the following services, delivered by a local partner organization:
The Post-Arrival Package is valued at € 615. If you do not need or only partially use these immediate services, you will receive the remaining amount in cash.
Counselling
Welcome package (prepaid SIM card, hygiene products, etc.)
Airport pick-up
Support in onward journey (organization and covering the costs)
Temporary accommodation for up to three days after arrival
Direct medical assistance
Long-Term Support
The Post-Return Package provides long-term assistance for your reintegration and includes:
€ 200 in cash as immediate assistance
In-kind benefits worth € 1,800, which may include:
Implementation of a business idea (e.g., starting a small business)
Vocational training
Support in entering the labor market
Support in enrolment of accompanying children at school
Legal and administrative consultancy services
Family reunification
Medical assistance
Psychosocial support
Housing and household set-up
